La mutació dels pollastres
Sanz, Pep
The work follows the haphazard life of a poetic self embodied in a chicken. A chicken that, during its short and confused existence, has been fed night and day with the grain of supposed certainties (religion, family, social conventions, heteropatriarchy, heterosexuality, etc.). Only when he sees himself hanging upside down ready to be cut, does he realize that these certainties bleed into him like one big lie. But it's too late to stay. It is then, once dead and spent some time cooling down, that this chicken becomes something different: it mutates. Without judging whether the mutation is better or worse than the previous state, the construction of a new own story begins.
