La mujer y el vampiro
Cuenca, Luis Alberto de
Alcorlo, Manuel
(il.)
In one of the many sketchbooks that the painter Manuel Alcorlo keeps in his studio, a series of naked women appear, rubbing shoulders with different companion animals, in a sort of refined bestial symbiosis. Based on this graphic material, Luis Alberto de Cuenca took on the challenge of writing a poetic story in twenty-five very short chapters. There are two protagonists: a vampire, alter ego of the poet, who is the one who monologues in a fragmentary way in each of these lyrical cuts, and a woman, the emblem of all women, who remains silent. The result is as original as surprising. A true gift for the senses made with the immortal love that vampires usually put in all their works.
