La máscara de Prometeo
Junciel, Jairo
Daniel, a young man who lives in Compostela in the mid-nineteenth century, accidentally ends the life of his cousin and must flee to avoid being sentenced to death. A carriage takes him to the mansion of a rich old man named Waterfall. The old man has organized a philanthropic expedition with the aim of giving back to the world a part of what he has given. Daniel, pressed by his situation, embarks and becomes part of a group of eminent mathematicians, biologists and linguists who, in addition to his wisdom, bring disastrous personal tragedies. But at the beginning of the journey, Daniel receives a shot that compromises his life and the scientists decide to impose an object on him to heal him: the Prometheus mask. The mask, which is incomplete, heals Daniel, thus revealing the real reason for the expedition: to recompose this fantastic object that can heal, enlighten, resurrect and seek eternal life.
