After writing to new generations with her message about politics and the importance of commitment in her book To those who come, Manuela Carmena now advocates addressing those who feel increasingly distant from current politics. In the era of disaffection, this book is a praise of tolerance as the ultimate value of democracy. Based on her own experience as a lawyer, politician and mayor, she presents an alternative to the party system -left and right- a politics of the people that breaks with the violent debate that dominates the scene today and that condemns lies as impassable line.
