Benjamin Graham is one of the most important financial and investment authors of the 20th century. He was a peerless figure as a finance teacher, pioneering stock analyst, and mentor to investment stars. His advice in The Interpretation of Financial Statements is as useful and insightful today as it was when the book was published in 1937. As Graham himself says in his preface: "The success of an investment ultimately depends on future events... But if we have accurate data on a company's current financial position and earnings history, we will be better able to assess its future potential. And this is the main function and utility of stock analysis".
