La intemporalidad perdida
y otros relatos
Nin, Anaïs
Written when she was about twenty-five years old and living in France with her husband, the American poet and banker Hugh Parker Guiler, these sixteen unpublished stories in Spanish surprise by their maturity and freshness, at the same time that they already show the two elements that would later become entrenched in his work -irony and feminism- and also his obsessions -female desire, sexuality, adultery, beauty and the portrait of a masculinity as dazzling as it is toxic-. Some of these stories are starred by clear alter ego of Nin; others, by passionate flamenco dancers, mysterious foreigners, musicians...
