La huida hacia la libertad

France, 1941: like many other German refugees wanted by the Gestapo, Rolf and his father are trapped in Marseille because they are not granted an exit permit. Their destination is New York, where Rolf's mother is waiting for them, but the only path to freedom is a steep path through the Pyrenees. Manuel, a shepherd barely older than Rolf, will lead them through the mountains. In secret and against the prohibition of his father, the boy takes his beloved dog Adi with him, and the four of them set out on a dangerous path to an uncertain future.
