La guerra de la pólvora

After his fateful adventure in China, Captain Will Laurence and Temeraire, his extraordinary dragon, are approached by a mysterious emissary who brings urgent new orders from Great Britain. England has purchased three valuable dragon eggs from the Ottoman Empire, and Laurence and Temeraire must make a detour to Istanbul to escort the precious cargo to its destination. They cannot waste a minute if the eggs have to be transported home before hatching. As if that were not enough, the crew is forced to face an unexpected threat: the Chinese dragon Lien, who blames Temeraire for the death of her master, swears to ally herself with her greatest enemy to get revenge on him.
