La ferida
LVI Premi Recull de Narració Joaquim Ruyra 2020
Canadell, Albert
Two narratives make up "La ferida" crossing the Amazon from end to end: from the mouth of the Marajó archipelago, which gives title to the first of them, to the birth of the vast river in Peru. The main characters in both narratives flee the human jungle and the inner turmoil to enter the real jungle, a disproportionate nature, the metaphorical open wound. Of the first narration, "Marajó", they emphasize the adventures of a microbe or menino da rua and a young person who escapes of an indigenous community. The second, "Rai", narrates the experience of a foreigner who is invited to take a healing potion in a tribal village.
