With affection and hope, these brief reflections are offered here for the consideration or discussion of individuals and groups who, both in Spain and in the Americas, wonder about their responsibility in relation to human dignity. This book tries to evoke in a very simple way, some of the documents that constitute the Social Doctrine of the Church, while offering for reflection a range of the most frequent ethical challenges in these times. On these issues it is worth asking what the Church relies on to express its opinion. Well, the Church affirms time and again that the fulcrum of her reflection is none other than the very constitution of human nature.
