The new book by Martí Perarnau deciphers the genetic code of football. The book covers the different tactical developments of the hand of the false 9, the most complex and subtle figure that exists in football. The false 9 arose in 1910 and has accompanied all the successive evolutions: the English direct game, the Scottish passing game, the offensive and defensive orientation, the proactive mentality, the reactive spirit, the zonal defense, the marking of the man, the attack online, in a fan or in W. All the ideas of the game are contained within the false 9, which brings together the four great elements of football: ball, time, space and deception.
