La esposa del prisionero

Under cover of the dark of night, a young Czech woman and a British soldier flee from the Nazis who are pursuing them. Their love is impossible, but they will fight to be together. Izabela met Bill when he came to work on his father's farm as a German prisoner of war. What started as an attraction turns into a love so strong that they decide to get married in secret and run away; however, they end up in the hands of the enemy. In order to face the horrors of the concentration camp together, they devise a plan: with her short hair, Izabela poses as a mute British soldier. If they are discovered, they risk something more than the possibility of staying together, because not only their lives would be compromised, but also those of their fellow prisoners, who have helped them keep their secret.
