La escuela vaciada
la enseñanza en la época pospandémica
Bertoni, Federico
(and others)
The emptied school is not a diary of the health emergency that has closed the doors of schools and universities, but a reflection on what will be the future of teaching as a pedagogical activity and of the school as an institution and learning space. The pandemic has marked a turning point that entails clear opportunities for change and innovation, but also far-reaching risks both in the education sector and, more broadly, in the social sphere. Are, for example, digital resources a tool at the service of students and teachers, or are they instead a covert agent that threatens the concept of equality on which education must be governed? What space do the humanities occupy in this technocratic society? And what is the professional and human role that the teacher should play? The four essays collected in this volume try to provide an answer to all these questions, which reflect, with different approaches, on the recent past of teaching, and propose scenarios and lines of work for a future that is extremely uncertain. Far from being a reading for specialists, these texts concern the whole of society, whose future depends largely on the orientation and priorities of its educational system.
