La enfermera de Auschwitz
Stuart, Anna
It is 1943 and Ana Kaminski walks through the iron gates of Auschwitz with her friend Ester Pasternak. When they arrive before the official, Ana says that she is a midwife and that Ester is her assistant. She soon realizes that the fate of many children is in her hands. When two SS officers snatch a baby from her mother's arms to entrust her to a German family, Ana is in infinite pain. However, she finds a way to preserve her bond: she begins to tattoo on the arm of each newborn the same identification code that her mother carries, so that one day they can meet again. But what will happen when her destiny confronts her with the most difficult of decisions? What will she be willing to sacrifice for herself?
