Emotional education is a fundamental part of the integral education of students. Adequate emotional competence facilitates not only a better interaction with the environment, but also the acquisition of other types of learning necessary for life, including the learning typical of the curricular areas. However, over the years, emotional education has resulted in a simplification of the concept that has ended up distorting it, turning it into an education for fun or an education for ephemeral happiness. This means that students do not receive a correct emotional training that really encourages an improvement in their emotional skills and abilities.
