La democracia en apuros

The proposal of this book, which collects the annotations of a constitutionalist during the last three years, is to identify, as they arise, the problems of our democratic system, with special attention to their territorial or parliamentary manifestations, to propose a specific solution to the same, in accordance with an obligatory constitutional perspective, and frame them in a specific value or political ethics reference. What the reader will find on these questions is not an academic doctrinal analysis to use but some notes on the most striking or serious episodes, accompanied by a reflection on political thought, represented by distinguished names, jurisprudential practice or the situation of the issues in the comparative context, preferably American and European. Understanding our democracy in difficult times, in a critical ideological and historical context, is the purpose that this book, a true journal of ideas, aims to help achieve.
