La Dama de Constantinoble
Faner, Pau
Na Sola is a young woman from Ciutadella who is captured during the assault on the city by the Turks in 1558, at which time her family is murdered except for her younger brother, of whom she loses track, and is made slave, like much of the population. The promise that Na Sola makes to her father before she dies - never to be a slave - will, however, mark the entire story and the adventures that the girl and her friends will experience, which we will discover throughout the story. Enslaved in Constantinople, she and three other friends manage to escape and, after many adversities, they can finally be free and start a new life, although far from their dream Citadel, now gone.
