Under different denominations and disparate forms, whether as an elective, feudal, absolute, constitutional or democratic monarchy, and beyond the biographies of each of the kings, the influence of the Crown in our life together is undeniable for those who try to Learn about Spanish history. Without its persistence and its institutional fit on a board characterized by territorial tensions, dynastic disputes and the prerogatives of other institutions (the Cortes, the Councils, the nobility or the Church), the evolution that Spain has suffered throughout weather. This collective work in which fourteen prominent historians participate, recounts how, century after century, the Crown has intervened in the political configuration of Spain.
