La conjura del Valle de los Reyes
Melgar, Luis T. (1980- )
On November 4, 1922, Howard Carter found the tomb of Tutankhamun, the greatest archaeological discovery of all time. A few days later, he himself, his patron Lord Carnarvon and Lady Evelyn, his daughter, were the first three people to glimpse the treasures accumulated there more than three thousand years before. None wanted to listen to the Egyptian workers who warned them of the pharaoh's curse. A few months later, Lord Carnarvon died under mysterious circumstances. Thus begins a vertiginous intrigue, in which the young Lady Evelyn, secretly in love with Howard Carter, will not give up her efforts to find out if her father died naturally or if there was a hidden conspiracy behind the ancient curse.
