La confabulació dels suïcides

In Athens, during the covid pandemic, most shops and bars remain closed, and many people are, in every way, on the edge. No one is surprised that the suicide rate has increased. And yet, Kostas Jaritos does not quite understand that a ninety-year-old man writes in his farewell letter: "Long live the suicide plot!" after alluding to the loneliness and misery in which he lived. Is there something more behind this death than sheer despair? And what could trigger this note among a population on the edge of its strength and its patience, and very susceptible to vaccines and restrictions? Kostas Jaritos will have to investigate it. Thus he will get to know unprecedented aspects of Athens and, above all, the spirit of resistance of its inhabitants.
