In 1951, during the Franco regime, La Ciudad de los Muchachos was inaugurated, a learning home in the Collserola forest for orphaned children without resources. But what was sold as an exemplary institution, a replica of an innovative project, became hell for many of those who lived there. Emilio and Carlos among them. There they lost much more than innocence, and still suffer its consequences in secret today. At least, until they begin to directly affect those who love the most. What kind of person becomes a child who, when he most needs attention and affection, only receives screams, punishments and contempt?
