This last work by Françoise Dolto is both her testament and one of her best works. The famous psychoanalyst imprinted on him, as always, her genius, her visionary intelligence and her generosity as a woman and as a mother. Written from the same perspective and with the same method as The Children's Cause, it offers a synthesis of information, testimonies, experiences, advice and proposals that will allow all parents and educators to give a new twist to their dialogue with the most youths. Thus, topics such as running away from home, suicide, drugs, school failure or sexuality cease to be taboo to become a stimulating object of debate. Dolto talks about the rights and duties of adolescents and invites us to penetrate the universe of boys and girls between 10 and 16 years old. This is a last battle to give the floor to those who still do not have it and introduce as a priority objective, in the framework of a general crisis in education, respect both for oneself and for others.
