La casa de las sombras
Nevill, Adam
Catherine's last job ended badly. Corporate bullying at a major TV network got her fired from her and forced to leave London, but she was determined to get her life back. A new job and a few therapists later, things are looking up. Especially when she's presented with a challenging project: cataloging the late M.H. Mason's wildly eccentric stash of antique dolls and puppets. Weirdest of all, she'll be able to peruse their elaborate displays of stuffed and costumed animals, depicting gory scenes from the Great War. Catherine can't believe her luck when Mason's elderly niece invites her to stay at the Red House, where she keeps her collection until her niece exposes her to the dark message behind Mason's uncle's "Art." Catherine tries to focus on work, but Mason's visions begin to cast dark shadows from her own past. Shadows that she hoped therapy had finally erased. Soon, the barriers between reality, sanity and memory begin to merge and some truths seem too terrible to be true...
