La cárcel

Valeria, one of the contestants on the reality show La Cárcel, appears dead in her cell. In the midst of the stupor and initial chaos, Vera, the production director, takes the reins and thinks that, whatever the cost, the news must be kept secret until the program ends, a month. Antonio, the director of the program, and Claudia, the editor who has discovered the body, believe that it will be impossible to keep the secret, in addition to that it seems ethically despicable. Only Alina, the assistant director, trusts in the power of Vera and the ability to manipulate the audience and take them where the writers want. Thus, after a few script changes and several phone calls, they give the expected results and the only ones who, with great discretion, walk around the crime scene are the sub-inspectors of the police Rodrigo Arrieta and Alejandro Suárez. Repeated visits to the offices, interviews with personnel and the need for someone to guide him through those corridors favor the relationship between Sub-Inspector Arrieta and Alina, who end up looking for excuses for their meetings. Very little by little, in a slow-moving investigation, the police uncover clues such as that the victim was poisoned, that three of the contestants entered the show because their scores were falsified, that someone tried to blackmail the content director and the director of the program... but the findings add little to the question of murder. And suddenly, a second dead contestant appears. It cannot be a coincidence, because the medical report says that they have poisoned him with the same substance as Valeria. A flower that someone leaves in the dead contestant's closet becomes the only clue for Sub-Inspector Arrieta to unmask the murderer.
