La cancelación y sus enemigos

Is there really a censorious and puritanical "cancel culture" that limits the freedom of artists? Or, rather, "why do they call it 'cancellation' when they mean criticism?" That is what Gonzalo Torné asks himself in an article that will receive an unexpected answer: that of Clara Montsalvatges, one of the characters in his novels. Between the two, they draw here the portrait of a scenario in which "emancipated audiences" make new demands on creators, and wonder about the responsibilities of an artistic representation committed to capturing complexity.
