1475. In Vetonia, a city in the Castile of the Catholic Monarchs, lives Caterina, a young countess who has recently been widowed. She resides in the palace of her uncle, the Marquis of Narros, and intends to create an important guild of tailors and embroiderers. To do this, she sends Guillén, her lover, to Valencia with the purpose of finding the best artisans. Upon her return, Guillén will bring Juana, a promising embroiderer, who will fill the palace walls with love, suspense, drama and secrets and will disrupt Caterina's quiet life.
