La autora
Bendahan, Esther
La autora is a reportage/fiction that explores the author's relationship with his work. A sculptor of Polish origin, Janowela Izabella Podlaski, who lives in Bilbao, is suing those responsible for the use of her designs without her authorization. In an environment in which works of art are sometimes used as a means of exchange so that economic and political powers can benefit through obscure transactions, figureheads and accounts in tax havens, the sculptor asks a writer to write about the judicial process on copyright theft of which he is a victim. Her discovery, a luminous material, has been copied with impunity without her consent. The relationship between both authors comes into conflict due to their different views on the political situation, one and the other differ on the need or not of silence.
