La anarquía explicada a los niños
Emmanuel, José Antonio
During the Second Republic, reading promotion had a strong role in cultural policies promoted by the State, but also by social movements. In this scenario, various publishing houses and printers linked to the libertarian movement played a fundamental role in the dissemination of the new emancipatory discourses. This brochure, published in 1931 by the Barcelona publishing house B. A. I., was written by the pedagogue José Antonio Emmanuel, an anarchist philanthropist, promoter, among other projects, of schools for underprivileged girls and boys. In it he tries to transmit to the daughters and sons of the working class families the libertarian ideas of the rationalist school and how to put them into practice.
