In the future not too distant from ours, robots have eliminated humans. XR_935, a twelve-year-old robot, agrees. Without humans there is no war, there is no pollution, there is no crime. Every member of society has a purpose, and everything works smoothly and efficiently. Until the day XR discovers the impossible: a human named Emma. For his entire life, XR had been told that humans were evil and that the world was better off without them. But Emma doesn't look evil, she looks scared. And she needs her help. Now, XR must embark on a dangerous journey with Emma and two other robots to bring her safely to a mysterious point on a map. But how will they survive in a place where the rules are never broken and humans aren't even supposed to exist?
