Little Nejiko Suwa traveled to Europe from her native Japan with the firm intention of becoming a violin virtuoso. However, her fate had a surprise in store for her. As a symbol of the alliance between the powers of the Germany-Japan axis, she receives a Stradivarius violin from the hands of Joseph Goebbels himself. But the instrument that she holds in her hands seems not to respond. He opposes her, as if he had her own soul, as if she remembered the hands of another owner of hers. Only some time later she Nejiko she discovers that she belonged to a Jewish musician murdered by the Nazis. That instrument, despite its origin and the character she gave it to, has become her greatest treasure. But when it's called out to her, she has to find the courage to make the right decision. Only then will her violin be able to sound like before.
