L'obscur adeu de Teresa Lanza
Hill, Toni
There are few places as peaceful as this enclave near Barcelona, with wide avenues, manicured gardens and houses with swimming pool. An idyllic setting where, apparently, nothing ever happens. Until one morning the day wakes up invaded by a plague of very strange skeletons. Stuck in the trees, nailed to the fences, the posters show the photo of a girl, a black cross and a handwritten question: "Who killed Teresa Lanza?". Five women remember Teresa, the young Honduran woman who cleaned their houses, and none of them has managed to forget the news of her suicide, almost a year ago. What they all ignore, and no one suspects, is that the girl's shadow continues to roam their homes in search of answers.
