L'estranya desaparició d'en Maxwell Beckett

Maxwell is eleven years old and always gets into trouble. When he wanders the neighborhood with his dog Monster, whom he saved from being run over when he was a puppy, all the neighbors consider him a bitch. But during one of his visits to the neighborhood something amazing happens: he discovers a mysterious cabinet of curiosities and suddenly he himself is "erased" from his life, as if he never existed! What happened?
