L'any que va caure la roca
Coll, Pep
A group of young people from a mountain village do not want to follow the family tradition that would force them to stay at home cultivating the land. The confrontation with his people becomes a constant and useless battle. Until the morning of a Sunday in 1975, returning from the nightclub, the seven young people encounter a dramatic event that turns their lives and the history of the village upside down. The tragedy that befalls them, however, raises the possibility of starting again, of opening the doors to the dream of a different society, in tune with the new airs that are blowing in the country. The upheaval seems like an opportunity to rethink everything. Pep Coll returns to the literary world of Two Black Coffins and Two White Coffins with a novel full of humanity and epic breath: a different look at the years of the democratic transition from a transforming rural world.
