L'Aleph

As Avel·lí Artís-Gener 'Tísner' wrote in the foreword that accompanies the present edition, in "the selection of stories from L'Aleph seems to have been tailor-made, as if one had wanted to exhibit in a single volume the whole range of tones that Borges uses in his fabulous narrative. From the stories that make you turn the pages with sustained -and growing!- anguish, through the ingenious and surprising theological and philosophical disquisitions, to the pure examinations of 'introspection and retrospection'.
