L'adversari

L'adversari

Carrère, Emmanuel

On January 9, 1993, Jean-Claude Romand killed his wife, children, and parents, and tried unsuccessfully to commit suicide. The investigation revealed that he was not a doctor, as he intended, but he was nothing else either. He had been lying since he was eighteen. On the verge of being discovered, he preferred to eliminate people whom he could not hold his gaze. In July 1996 he was sentenced to life in prison, and in April 2019 he was released from prison on parole.
