Jung, un viaje hacia sí mismo

un pensamiento visionario que da sentido a nuestras vidas

Lenoir, Frédéric

Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), Swiss physician and pioneer of psychoanalysis, is one of the great thinkers of the 20th century. In France he remains quite unknown, even though his ideas have exerted a profound influence on our contemporary culture and even though it was he who coined numerous revolutionary concepts, such as synchronicity, the collective unconscious, archetypes or complexes. He is, along with Spinoza, one of the authors who have marked me the most, and has had a decisive impact on my vision of the world and of myself. That is why I have put so much effort into making his visionary thought accessible to a wide audience, which builds the bridge between psychology and quantum physics, which shows how much the human being needs meaning and a symbolic or spiritual life to develop fully and deeply. This conviction will distance Jung from Freud and will lead him to experiment and develop his "individuation process": an extraordinary inner journey in which each of us learns to make his conscious and unconscious dialogue in order to fully become himself and access to a feeling of unity and deep joy. I wanted to invite the reader to this fascinating journey towards himself, to discover one of the thinkers who seems to me to have gone the furthest in understanding the human being and the meaning of his existence.
