Jardí vora el mar is six summers, an infinite number of plants and one of the most beautiful novels written by Mercè Rodoreda. The voice that speaks is that of the gardener of a rich summer house who observes the life around him: that of the garden and that of the owners of the house, with the friends of each year, the extravagant parties, the service rotten with gossip, the more or less domestic animals that entertain them and new neighbors who will stir up the past and set in motion a whole sentimental drama.
