Ipuina engainua da
Zaldua, Iban
Iban Zaldua is one of the greatest practitioners and advocates of Basque storytelling, and it is in this spirit that he has seasoned this new collection of stories; two peculiarities compared to the previous one: the collection is bigger and at the same time has fewer stories (seventeen); therefore, the stories are not so short; or, to be more precise, in addition to the usual short stories, he has also seasoned longer stories that approach the size of short novels, always keeping the core of the story. The subjects, on the other hand, are varied, which mostly make up the Knight's universe: marital problems, adultery, incidents between parents and children, some fantastical accounts (less than usual), a little science fiction, a parody of social media activity, social criticism ( whether it's school segregation, weaponry), the world of pop music, and even metal literature, including theories about the story itself.
