Inseparables

Last work of the psychiatrist and author, written in four hands with his wife, the academic and writer Marylin Yalom, and in which, halfway between the memoir and the self-improvement novel, they narrate in the first person and in alternate chapters the last 12 months of her life, from the moment she is diagnosed with a terminal illness, until the end finally occurs. A work in which the couple, married for 65 years, explain without taboos and with great sweetness how they fit the diagnosis in the first place and how they face the disease and its development. Thus, while Marilyn must learn to have a good death, Irvin will have to learn to live without her, in addition to facing her own death.
