Ullmann, Linn
He is a prestigious Swedish filmmaker, a man obsessed with order, punctuality and control of feelings. She is his daughter, the youngest of nine siblings. Every summer since she was a child, she has visited her father on the remote island of Fårö. Now that she is a young writer and he is an old man, they plan to make a book on aging based on a series of recorded conversations. "Getting old -says the father- is hard work, difficult and very unglamorous". And, indeed, his physical and mental decline, a prelude to a near death, will leave the project in half.
