India simbólica

India simbólica

el cuerpo y la luna

Tausiet, María

With a clear desire to analyze in an entertaining and simple way, but without giving up the rigor of the sources, this book explores the pillars of the complex Hindu religion. In countries like the United Kingdom, Hinduism has been a subject of study for specialists from the best universities for many years, however, in Spain the bibliography on this subject is much smaller and more focused on the less profound and mystical aspects of this belief. This is the reason that makes this essay a rare text in our country, especially because of the way it deals with the origins and main symbols of Hindu mysticism from a solidly documented historical perspective and away from the most commercial influence. Even so, María Tausiet's style is suggestive, sober and kind, and her prose manages to catch the reader, whether or not he is an expert in the matter, and lead him intelligently through the symbology of this ancestral religion.
