Ilión
Villén Lucena, Mario
"Sing, oh muse...", the aeda begins to recite, and immediately we fly to ancient Greece. There, where legend, myth and history fade, Homer welcomes us on the plain. Helen of Sparta, beautiful among all women, has been kidnapped by Paris, a Trojan prince. Menelaus, as husband and king, promises revenge, and soon the Achaean armies, commanded by his brother Agamemnon, cross the sea to besiege Troy. Now, ten years later, the prophecy is about to be fulfilled. Soon blood and lost dreams will cover the plain. Two great heroes are the symbol of each side: the pale Achilles, the one with the golden greaves, and Hector of Troy, the horse tamer. Along with them, Priam, Ajax the Great, Diomedes, Patroclus, and even the cunning Odysseus. But it is not just a matter of honor that the Achaeans and Trojans face, nor for the rescue of Helen: control over the Hellespont is at stake. And everything hangs in the balance... until Achilles' wrath explodes.
