Hollywood y la Guerra contra el Terror

Hollywood y la Guerra contra el Terror

Navarro, Antonio José

Over the course of nearly two decades, Hollywood has become a veritable (and haunted) collective memory and conscience in relation to 9/11 and the War on Terror. If someone had lived in complete isolation all this time, without reading any newspaper, magazine or book, or having watched a television newscast or listening to the radio, watching only Hollywood movies and television, they could get a pretty good idea of ??what it was. 9/11, why and how the War on Terror developed, what is the perception that Americans have of themselves and of other countries or cultures, and what feelings does it cause them to confront their evil, their anger, to his fear, to his suffering. In this work, numerous documentaries, fiction tapes and television products of different styles, dramaturgies and ideologies are analyzed, a space for debate, dispute, in which viewers become aware of their cultural and political position in the face of such a conflict.
