Atxaga is a collection of five adventures of the little dog Xola in hardcover. These are the classic narratives of Basque children's literature, which were published after 1995 and which have been restored here. These stories, collected in a single book, have been selected by the famous Japanese publisher Shogakukan in 2022, and included among the best children's works of universal literature. Xola the rat dog, according to its author, has "the stubbornness of a mule, the cunning of a fox and the mischievousness of a rebellious child"; above all, it is a very human animal, innocent and shameless at the same time, always questioning the obligations imposed on us by certain social conventions. He loves freedom, but with a touch of humor close to the absurd.
