Historia secreta del Camino de Santiago
orígenes, leyendas y lugares clave de la ruta jacobea
Martínez Rodríguez, Tomé
Much has been written about the genesis of the Camino de Santiago; also known with the appropriate name of Route of the stars, because its winding path seems to correspond to that other celestial path that covers us with its mantle of stars every night and is known as the Milky Way. The latest Jacobean investigations confirm the presence of numerous characters, episodes and places related to the transfer of the remains of the Apostle Santiago to Galicia and that hide the keys to a pagan genesis of the medieval Camino. The conclusions of this research have turned out to be exciting because they link with another no less significant idea and it is the remote origin of a route that ended up being Christianized in the Middle Ages and that today millions of pilgrims from all over the world travel.
