Historia de una mujer soltera

In 1992, the old Chiyo one published the story of Kazúe, a girl who, after starring in love indiscretion, ends up escaping from her home. The narrator follows her to Tokyo, describes her life until after thirty -five years and wonders, in a kind of hipnotic sway, the reasons why Kazúe worked, she decided and felt. The effect is of surprising force and the short, syncopated and strict phrases seem to respond, always provisional, to that incessant inquisition.
