The debate on Spain -a project of civic coexistence for many, a sacred ideal according to others, the mother of all misfortunes for not a few- has gained an intensity that no one suspected a few years ago. The new realities of the third millennium have questioned essential pillars on which the contemporary world has been based. Thus, the concepts of nation, state, country or citizenship must be seen from a new perspective. There is no doubt that in Spain, given the political situation it is going through, a reflection on these issues is doubly necessary.
