Jordi Teixidor is an abstract painter. And, in this sense, extremely realistic, if we conceive the real as the opposite of the slogan, of the reassuring normalization, of the megalomaniac noise of the "status quo". He is an abstract painter and, consequently, concrete and precise. Because only from the maximum clarity can the dark be born. Only confusion is born out of confusion and the simulacrum of transparency that derives from confusing reality with the grossest and most obscure forms of realism.
