Hasta que nos volvamos a ver
la historia de una madre, sus hijos desaparecidos y el complot para matar a Hitler
Bailey, Catherine
In September 1944, Urlich von Hassell, a former ambassador to Italy and a key member of the German resistance, is executed in Berlin for his involvement in a plot to assassinate Hitler, the so-called Operation Valkyrie. But Hitler's wishes for revenge go beyond the death of those involved, he wants to put an end to "that nest of snakes" and also kill his relatives, so the arrest of all of them is ordered. In a remote castle in Italy, Von Hassell's daughter Fey will be able to dodge SS networks for a time thanks to her married name, but eventually she will be detained and separated from her children. The children will be taken to Wiesenhof, a Nazi orphanage where they will be assigned new names, new identities and new lives, making them almost untraceable. Instead of being killed, Fey will be held hostage and taken from prison to prison and from field to field, on a terrible journey to the darkest corners of occupied Europe that will almost cost her her life and in which she will always be it will accompany the pain and concern for their children.
