Hard Land

Missouri, 1985. To escape the problems at home, fifteen-year-old Sam gets a job at an old movie theater in the city to fill the long hours of the hot and tedious summer. The dilapidated cinema and the young people who work in it will make this a magical and memorable summer. Sam will make friends for the first time, fall in love and discover the secrets of the city from him. For the first time, he will no longer feel like an outsider forced to go unnoticed. But in every idyllic corner of memory, in every golden age, there is always a stain that reminds us that all that was not a dream, and in the case of Sam it will be no different.
